Member Services Associate Needed for Large Healthcare Company

This position serves as a liaison between a large healthcare company and its members, in order to facilitate access to care, respond to inquiries and maintain Member satisfaction and enrollment.  Specifically, the Member Services Associate handles inquiries via telephone regarding Primary Care Physician (PCP) changes, eligibility and effective date verifications, complaints and general questions.  In addition, the Associate documents all calls, and forwards potential enrollments to the Marketing Department.
 
Requirements:
- Education beyond High School is strongly desired – technical degree or associates degree preferred.
- 1-3 years professional telephone experience in a call
center environment preferred.  Experience in managed care or health care also considered.
- Bilingual preferred.  Must be MS Windows proficient.
- Excellent communications skills required to communicate effectively with members via telephone.
